Every lockdown is bringing out different challenges and equally good solutions. At one point of time people were looking for home like food delivery and that’s when Samayal From Home caught my eye. Why home like – To eat out from hotels on a daily basis while not being in the best of one’s health isn’t a great choice, isn’t it? It’s also matter of daily expense if we have to speak about the topic honestly.
A few who ordered from Samayal From Home gave good feedback and I decided to try them out, too. They announce their menu the previous day to facilitate the prior day order facility. I’m sharing my experience of ordering breakfast and lunch(On 2 different days) from them.
The Sunday when I had ordered the menu was Idlies and Chicken Kuzhambu (₹120). 5 pcs of Idlies that came with a homely chicken gravy having 3 pcs of Chicken in it disappeared in no time. I would have preferred softer Idlies but that’s not a complaint at all. It’s just my preference. The gravy soaked up the Kuzhambu very well and tasted good.
On another occasion, ordered their Meals (₹100) whose quantity was sufficient. The items in the meals were well made and prefect for my liking. No qualms at all. The Menu of the day was – Murungakai Urulaikizhangu Kuzhambu, Keerai Poriyal, Kose Kootu, Thakkali Rasam, Mor and Appalam. Rice was included.
They cover 3 delivery zones. Zone 1 – Purasaiwalkam, Kellys, Kilpauk, Anna Nagar.
Zone 2 – Perambur, Ayanavaram, Villivakkam.
Zone 3 – Avadi, Annanur, Thirumullaivoyal.
