I’m always on the look out for great home style cooked food and one such find has to be the “The Madras Pantry”. My mom loves South Indian food (actually she has stopped experimenting beyond this cuisine) and on the days when I’ve to treat her (and not take her out) places like The Madras Pantry comes handy. Food and delivery taken care by someone else only means comfort food in the best comfort level.
The Madras Pantry has a combo for 2 (₹699) which comes with 2 boxes of Steamed Rice, Chicken Curry, Prawns Thokku, Andhra Chilli Chicken, Rasam, Curd and Sweet. Chicken Curry with it’s subtle flavors was a winner for sure but the best performer was the Andhra Chilli Chicken which was damn good. Loved it. Sweet was Gulab Jamun and other accompaniments were well made. Ordered Fish Fry (₹279) which was 4 pcs of perfectly prepared Pomfret. There were a few Masala Eggs and a dabba of Ghee Rice which came complimentary and I loved them both.
