While in Pollachi, I had to look beyond Pollachi too as I had to make use of my time and try things beyond my territory. Just 30 minutes away from where I was so staying so I had to strike off places in Udumalpet that I had in mind. Two places were suggested by a Blogger friend from that side.
Hannavasal was a good choice of place in Udumalpet for dine in, I must add. Their short grained Mutton Biryani (₹200) was full of flavours and the Dalcha that came complimentary with it helped to lift the flavours more. The fatty pieces in a Mutton Fry (₹200) isn’t something that I enjoy which I’m sure many may not agree with me on. Had qualms with the taste of the masala, though. Kudal Muttai (₹140) which is Egg based Goat Intenstine Fry was excellent in taste. Loved it. Overall, a pretty good experience here.
