Al Reef a name quiet synonymous with Shawarma and Grill in this area. It has a celebrity level fan base, if I may say so. Since, it’s located in a congested area, parking would be at your own risk.
Special Shawarma Roll (₹85.50) justified the hype created around it. Had a spicy note to it, with an overdose of Mayo and loaded with the shredded chicken. Shawarma purists might not approve of this but when the public has accepted it then who are we to debate about it. The Shawarma Plate (₹171.50) was ditto to the roll version. Grilled Chicken Full (₹343) was good but I wouldn’t call it great. If I’ve to go by the locals swearing on this dish, I have to consider it to be an one off day. It’s considered as a ritual to wash it all down with a Mint Lemon Cooler (₹114).
Totally paid ₹849 for multiple orders of a few dishes.
