Summer is incomplete for me without Sarbat from Ravi Soda Factory. It’s an obsession that I carry and it’s a must for me to drink/stock their Sarbat during peak summer. This year, owing to the lockdown and restrictions, I wasn’t sure about having them. Also tthe scare of the Virus, I wasn’t very sure if I should do it or not.
But, when the lockdown restrictions were brought down, I decided to drop in and check. It wasn’t as crowded as it used to be. Seeing others buy, I gathered my courage to buy. I stood and watched for some time, how they were doing their packaging etc.
It’s Takeaways only, now. You get the drink in a packaged bottle. It’s certainly good for the OCD-ian in me. After you place your order, your Sarbat/Soda is packed in a bottle, right in front of you. The taste remains the same – Addictive for any Sarbat lover. I made sure I packed some of their Syrups, too.
Cost of their star seller Naval Pazha Sarbat is ₹22. Nannari Soda was ₹18 and Paneer Soda was ₹12. All Syrup Bottles are priced at ₹80.
