I like tea. But, I can’t live without coffee. And, that lead me to finding this amazing coffee place in Madurai courtesy my personal Madurai guide. This place was ear marked during my last year’s September visit. But, I ended up visiting them in March 2020.
There are many Visalam Coffee shops in Madurai, but the attached one was the best out of the 2 Visalam Coffees, that we friends tried. You might miss the place inspite of Google’s announcement saying “You’ve Arrived”. Look for the most crowded shop on that side of the road and you’ll instantly know that “You’ve Arrived”.
So far with whatever you’ve read I’m sure you’ve understood that the Filter Coffee (₹15) is the Hero here. Absolute Bliss!! Perfect Coffee for a strong Filter Coffee lover like me. Hot Vadai (₹15) mildly soaked in Sambar and Chutney (A little bit of struggle there for an OCDian like me). But, the taste can put all your phobias aside and make you enjoy it. I had my doubts on the Sooji Appam (₹15) because of it’s texture, but the taste overpowered everything.
